Welcome aboard, ralphtidy. What's your novel about? Where to start?? The book has a working title of, 'Terms & Conditions'... It's a sprawling thing, lashing several genres together.. I suppose the general theme is the evil of money and the horror of debt, but along the way you have: 3 narrators in the same way Danielewski's 'House of Leaves' had 3 narrators.. A writer is tasked with the (apparently) simple job of putting together an article about a missing vicar who conducted the funeral service of Mr Ralph Tidy.. The book is 50 chapters and each chapter is basically(hoho, nothing 'basic', here) an ebay style auction listing where the item description tells a part Ralph's story, ie, the item is a memento from that part of the story.. One major plotline: A TV Home Shopping Channel whose customers are gradually recruited into a cult and subsequently become willing participants in an evil underground gameshow.. Ralph Tidy inevitably becomes sucked into the cult.. Also: A mass of footnotes (but footnotes that don't actually appear at the foot of the page but run as a stream throughout the text).. And on and on... I won't say too much more about it other than there is way more to it than those few tasters above.. I submitted part of it to a few agents over here to some favourable reviews, however, the wordcount put them all off... So I may go down the e-publishing route, once it is completed (probably early next year)... We'll see.... |

Hi everyone. Just found this board last night while trying to track down the old extended version of the film. I have a crappy VHS copy from way back in the day, but I'm hoping to find a better one. Anyway, not a lot of time to write right now because I'm on here at work, because I'm a bad, horrible person. |

Hi. New member and relatively new Blair Witch fan. I found this place completely by accident when I was looking for .ini tweaks for Blair Witch Volume One: Rustin Parr about a month ago, and I've always kept a tab open for this site in my browser since then.
