Hey everyone!! We are newbies and HUGE Blair Witch fans and so happy to be in this group! We are Jennifer and Marcel of J&M Explorations, two best friends who found within each other love, inspiration, and a mutual passion for exploration and adventure. It is our desire to share our adventures with others, learn from those around us who share the same affection for abandoned and haunted places and to promote respectful and peaceful journeys into the dwellings that hold such antiquity and elegance within it's decay. Just subscribed to your YouTube channel. Will check out the videos when I have time. Looks like interesting stuff. Have you seen Dan Karcher's White Enamel site? It was done in Flash so he'll have to rebuild it soon but you can still explore it as is. whiteenamel.com/ |

I do have to address the Flash situation. Come end of the year, it won't be possible to access Flash-based content any longer.
I am working on a temporary plan to archive the site and am in hopes I can present it again in a video format. There's much talk that Flash can be converted to HTML5, but White Enamel is way too sophisticated in its architecture to be translated of converted.
The video archive will work just fine, but this means the site would no longer be interactive. One could only watch and listen to the what the interactive process was.
Still trying to decide to archive with the cursor movement or without.
(if any of that made any sense).
What I'm also hoping for is that a browser company comes out of left field that allows the Flash Plug-In to function, and I believe that will happened. However, a bigger concern is will OS allow the Flash Plug-In?
The fact that it's being remediated off the net entirely open a slew of conspiracies. To avoid it is one thing, to remove an access via browsers, OS, et al is downright unheard of.
I just deleted 500 words of a rant. I need a fucking drink.

White Enamel was (and continues to be) a labour of utmost love for Dan. Rest assured the archiving of the site WILL happen, in at least one format--but to lose its interactivity is downright criminal, as the interactivity is inherent to the design and the experience. Hi all.
My name is Lee, but I've been known as Napper for a long, long time.
I live in the Lake District, UK and have an obsession with horror and sci-fi. I usually do several conventions every year, but this year has been tough on us all. My Spring and Summer stuck at home has seen me spending a lot of money upgrading my collection from DVD to Bluray and watching a LOT of movies.
I've quit all social media, so I'm pleased I found this little place.
I'm late to the party, but if anyone is still around please give me a wave:-)
