Greetings!
I've actually had an old account here years ago, however i forgot the password, so i decided to create a new account.
Ive been a fan of the franchise since i was young. I remember BWP being the first movie that scared me, and became a fan since.

Hi guys! I am new here to this forum and thinks it's really cool so far.im away from home living in Quebec,I travelled here after spending a month travelling in the USA starting from Port Angeles in Washington then went South to LA then east all the way through to Georgia, then headed north to NY, then came to Quebec. I'm on a six month leave of absence from my job, amd I'm some how renting two apartments on different sides of the country and I'm getting homesick as well as wanting to travel on. This forum is a good place to spend some time with like minded people who have been touched by a great movie and enjoy discussing it, it's really great to be here and I'm glad I got a chance to Introduce myself! Feel free to say hi!

May as well give this a go...
Dan, 35 from Glasgow, Scotland.
Was 15 back in '99 and always loved the Blair Witch.
Loved back then how people thought it was real. I knew the film wasn't real but I did think that it was based on a real event of 3 students disappearing.
Looking forward looking through as much of the forum as I can.

Welcome aboard So did you get to see it in '99? Funny story... I went to see it at my local cinema (myself I might add), was 14 at the time so was a bit nervous about trying to go see a 15 rated film. Got my ticket, got my snacks then looked at my ticket... Deep Blue Sea!! Since I was only 14 I didn't want to go back and make a fuss so I went to see Deep Blue Sea haha quite enjoyed it actually. Saw Blair Witch not long after that. So yeah I did see BW back in '99 haha

Welcome! I think I tried a PowerBar specifically because of the movie back in 1999. Guess what: You're not missing anything.

That's good to hear. They look good in movie, but maybe that's just the 1999 video quality.
According to IMDb, The oatmeal raisin PowerBar is one of the only ways you can tell that the Blair Witch Project footage is not real.
"The film supposedly takes place in 1994, but in the supermarket, Michael displays an oatmeal-raisin PowerBar. These were not available in 1994."
