Hello there, I spied this community a while ago, and have occasionally happened upon its comings and goings. Recently, I decided to become a member and finally find myself here. As with many, I share a lingering fascination and intrigue with the mythology, characters, themes and questions raised in the Blair Witch legacy and hope to further explore them here. Along with that, I would like to think myself fairly well versed with the nature of the stories and perhaps able to bring something stimulating to discussions here . pennedlore.

Good evening! My name's Daniel, and I've been a massive fan of TBWP ever since I first saw it five years ago, and it's only been recently in which I have been taking down and showing interest in the background story that accompanies it! I've been a lurker on this site for a number of years, and now I thought it would be a good time to join the site, share my views and be part of this amazing community! So thanks for having me, and I hope to see this through for many of years. Such an amazing Forum!

Hello everyone!
I have heard of The Blair Witch for many years now, but when 2008 came around and I saw my favorite found footage film and one of my favorite films ever Cloverfield. After hearing how Cloverfield was Blair Witch meets Godzilla, I read up on BW on Wiki and got freaked out by the plot synopsis. I finally got around to seeing it this year for the first time. Despite knowing the ending and everything the film still freaked me out. One of the things that I loved about Cloverfield was its viral and its whole backstory, and I loved finding that BW had one thats just as large and impressive. So yeah I'm a noob and I'll have alot of questions and I look forward to learning more about this fanchise!

Welcome aboard! We have a section for the BWF but it's pretty empty. Since you are reading them, maybe you can start things off there. I haven't read any of them and can't really add much. But others have.

I am incredibly late to the phenomenon known as the Blair Witch Project. I saw it when I was a kid, but I was too young and scared to view it as something incredible. Now, as a 24 year old adult, I see the amazing story as it is and can appreciate the horror of it all. I can't even remember how I got around to getting back into it, but I'm glad I did. I'm even writing my own fictional journal from the lovely Josh - his take on everything that happened. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I hope that this forum is still alive after all these years!

Hello, i'm a newbie here. I'm so sure i've been here at some point before though, many years ago (around BW2s home video release) but i may have just been a lurker and didn't sign up. I've been a fan of the series since the original movies release and it's cool to see there's still an active community for TBWP

Welcome aboard, Glenn. Glad to see you here.
What sort of filmmaking are you interested in? Have you worked on anything I might have seen?

Welcome aboard, Glenn. Glad to see you here. What sort of filmmaking are you interested in? Have you worked on anything I might have seen? Thank you! I've made a few short films, just released a new one in the horror genre which is being used as a pitch to make a full length feature. I've also directed a low budget horror feature which is being shopped around by the producers for DVD distribution....long story short...its terrible and a terrible experience working on it. It was my frist feature and just not the way I thought it was going to go down. Ether way I've learned from it and moved on to do better things.

Greetings from the UK,folks..
I'll give a brief introduction..
I'm Kevin and I've been fascinated by The Blair Witch Project since its original cinema release..
Looking briefly over this forum, I can see there is a ton of stuff to further my interest..
A word on my username: (ralphtidy) Ralph Tidy being one of the principle characters in a 'Found Footage' novel I am currently toiling on (800 pages and showing no sign of any kind of conclusion)..
Okay, so I hope to hang around, meet some new friends and learn a bit more about the BWP..
Thanks...
