I watched your film edit. I had never heard of it. I liked it. It was entertaining, and Shatner was in it.

But what was it originally?

You must have created the title, because I can't find any record of it by that title online.

In fact, I can't even find any record of it in Shatner's film and television filmographies. No record of him playing a character named Professor Robert. This is too weird..

American Psycho 2. I think Shatner character was a professor Robert Starkman or something similar on the last name. but pretty damn sure the first name is Robert.

Good call. That's the one. Never saw it before this Paxtn edit. Shatner was listed as just Starkman, which threw me.

The film was adapted from a script titled The Girl Who Wouldn't Die, and was originally conceived as a thriller with no association with American Psycho.

Yay, you figured it out. You watched the movie as it was intended! (Not American Psycho 2) not even the actors knew that they would later be tricked into acting for 'American Psycho 2'

There is Artisan Edit 1.2 so far with Sinatra version. I'm not done yet, breaks must be taken in between edits. The Girl Who Wouldn't Die was a smaller project I had been doing on the side. That is still work in progress too, but very watchable.

I'm glad you liked The Girl Who Wouldn't Die. It really is a secret hidden movie within a movie.. just begging to be edited back to its original form. Once again, Artisan (Lionsgate) ruined the movie after it was filmed, decided to add some tiny reference and a shitty scene with unrelated actors at the start to tie the movie to American Psycho ... man what a fucking shit company!!

That's good, because I'll never watch American Psycho 2. And it looked finished to me. I detected no abnormalities.

yes please do not watch 'american psycho 2' it doesn't exist.

I was toying with the idea of adding my own soundtrack to the movie, but I think it takes away from the comedy side of the film and adds a tone which is too serious for the nature of the film.

When I say I love the movie, I meant what the movie could and should of been. As seen in my edit. which is pretty much complete, it's probably the smoothest edit I've done, pretty much can't even tell it's been edited.

Believe me, I hear ya. I feel the exact same way about BW2 - the studio cut and the fan edited director's cuts still aren't my thing - no offense intended. There are certain scenes and dialogue I can't stand. And I never agreed with the idea of BWP being just a movie, even though I do fully understand what Berlinger was going for, I still feel the overall story could have stood well designed as a sequel taking place after Heather's disappearance (when edited as such)

So the directors commentary, you know the bridge scene followed by Tristen spinning scene? It's actually intended. Berlinger directly mentions that by Tristen not helping him ... moments after we see her spinning, was it really her decision to not help? or is something else at play...

I will upload the entire movie with commentary in a couple days, it's really interesting.
