I don't care if it broke even or what the reviews say. Sitting in a dark theatre and watching a (relatively) similar story to the original brought back some great memories of seeing the original the first time. It doesn't have the staying power of the original but, IMO, more Blair Witch is better than no Blair Witch...

BW16 isn't a total dumpster fire. There are bits of it that I like. But taken as a whole it fails. And to be fair I'm not sure how a successful sequel would be done. The first film is self-contained and doesn't lend itself to sequels. An impossible task I suppose.
