This year I hosted the 2nd trip & tour of BWP locations. 7 people joined me on my journey. This year a few great things happened: The former Staubb's Market where they interview Ed's sister now has a business in it so I got inside to visit where they sat and at lunch. Ed Swanson one of the fisherman in the film along w/ Dan Karcher Haxan historian surprised me at the spot Ed was interviewed in the film much to my surprise. We all hung out for the rest of the day and they followed on the tour. We met Ed Sanchez in the stickman forest and hung 3 dozen new stickmen back where they were they were first sighted. At the camping site Ed hung out and we watched some of the unseen raw footage from filming. Dan also brought along many props from the film. including an original Burkittsville sign, Mike's parka, and the film cans Hope you enjoy the pics

yeah its the same release as the dvd unfortunately. I have a copy sealed too! Its not a common disc and most times i see it for sale its awfully pricey most of the time. If i get another copy for cheap (and a LD player) i'll fire that bad boy up

I've seen it over the years and find it funny, just seems so odd that Dewars did this but it makes me thirsty!

Everyone on this film was special and provided something unique to make this film what it was. But i'm just thinking, wouldn't a director of photography credit be given to Heather & Josh primarily since they were the camera operators?

its all good, just good natured ribbing. I'm used to posting stuff online and finding it places. I never mind as long as people don't pass it off as theirs (which you did not) because we've all done it.
Name, address, blood sample, proof you can make a stick man, and undying devotion to all things BWP and a knife is yours!

I keep meaning to say, the directions to the stickmen location in the first post should be deleted, i showed them to Ed and they're completely off, off by about 4 miles. In case people come here to get directions, they will end up in the middle of nowhere.

honestly, this gets heavy rotation from me year round. I'm normally a country music listener but i love every track on this album. Got it on release day in 1999.

with Ed in the stickman forest. First time Ed has been there in 13 years and from what I can, first time a fan has entered the woods. With Ed outside the woods where the stone cemetery was. I'm holding the last verified stone to still be in its original location in the area of the cemetery. The tree that housed the next of rocks has fallen over from what Ed and I could tell.

here is an article about the camping trip this Saturday. When she contacted me i thought it was a joke for a minute and after talking to her i couldn't believe we'd be getting press for this event at all. I'm very humbled and excited by this www.towncourier.com/urbana/?p=4466
