Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 is being released again and have you seen that list of features?
This is certainly a treat and something I can not wait to see in the discussions. I am a day 1 fan of The Blair Witch Project.
I was in 9th grade when the world walked into the Black Hills Forest for the first time. I wanted it to be real so bad. So so bad.
I found a way to turn every school project that year into something pertaining to The Blair Witch Project. There wasn't a day I
didn't check the website for some breaking news or newly found artifacts. I was borderline obsessed there for a moment;
and let's be honest.. I still am. My love and admiration for this movie, Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez, and it's genius
entry into the market is only surpassed by it's heart and soul; Heather, Josh, and Mike who are will always be
The Blair Witch Project. They are the pull that brings us all together.
But let this not cast a shadow over the incredible and intriguing masterpiece of a ride that Joe, Kim, Jeff, Erica, Tristine,
and Stephen brought us along for. Even with all the studio messing, BW2 is one of my all time top 10 favorite movies and
home video releases. What an awesome and fun moment in home media to have experienced. The only other time I ever been
so impressed and had a sense of "involvement" in a home release was with the DVD release of Practical Magic. BW2 not only
delivered in theaters for me; it completely took collecting physical to it's first level for me. The immersive easter egg feature,
coupled with that that awesome score on the reverse side, brought a level of WOW to my 15 year old soul. To this day I still
walk in to my study greeted by both The Blair Witch Project and Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 theatrical issued posters. The
work behind both of these films and the actors that brought them to life with their spirit and admiration for the BW lore inspire
me each and everyday.
With that being said; it's Christmas for us Blair Witch fans. This is only 1 of 2 new releases we're getting and I can
not be more excited.
Check out these features!! What does everyone think about this new release from Imprint? Are you getting both this
and the Second Sight Films release or just one?
