Hi all, It's been a pleasure reading through all the threads on this site, seeing your dedicated fan edits and the many different interpretations of this story. I loved Berlinger and Sinofsky's Paradise Lost films as well as Brother's Keeper, also have been greatly affected by the Blair Witch lore and everything connected to it, so when I saw Book of Shadows was directed by one of the same artists I could not wait to see how they tackled the story and modality of found footage, despite all the bad reviews I heard in the past. I was so moved and impressed when I saw the film last Fall, especially loved [The Joe Berlinger Extended Fan Cut V.5 - Witchcraft Intro Music Version] which was introduced to me by my brother, and he encouraged me to post this fan music video I made for BW2:BoS to the forum. I used the track Bump in the Night by allSTARS* (most notably used in the Scooby-Doo! live-action movie) hoping to capture the fun and freaky essence of the characters and plot without revealing too much to someone who's never seen it. Really trying to tap into some '00s flavor. Here's the link on YouTube or Vimeo (Private) in case I get copyright struck. Thanks for watching, look forward to engaging more with this community!

That was really cool, your music video was really fun to watch! I'm glad you found and enjoyed Blair Witch 2 all these years later. Makes me really happy to see that there is still new fans popping up and enjoying the hard work that went into the edits too! I too really enjoy Berlinger's work, if you haven't seen Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) I would highly suggest giving that a watch, this is Berlinger's second film and the only other one he's made since Blair Witch 2 outside of documentaries. We even have Jeffrey Donovan appear in the film!
Also I must say as you are a fan of both Joe Berlinger's work and Blair Witch 2, I would suggest watching my 'Blair Witch 2 Artisan Removal Edit' for an incredibly accurate recreation of Blair Witch 2's directors cut (more so than Extended Berlinger Cut #5). I've recently released an updated version #3 for that edit too if that interests you.
Thanks for taking the time to put together such a cool video, this meant a lot to me as an editor who spent so much time on these edits!
You could also post the fanvid of yours on the official Blair Witch facebook page, or perhaps the Blair Witch subreddit too for more views! it deserves it.
