Looking through my discs of all things disc related today, I realized that I had already tossed my BW16 Blu-ray steelbook copy several years ago (good riddance) which is why I was sorting through my discs, just to make sure I had done so... and along the way I finally pulled the BW2 DVD+CD and left it outside for whoever to find (happy future viewing, enjoy Godhead 😆) the only cool thing about that disc was the Carter Burwell film score on the flip side.
Looking at my BWP Blu-ray steelbook copy I see that I had somehow lost my original BWP DVD (the true and superior version) and so I just now ordered another DVD copy for $10.50 in "Like New" condition.
I missed the aspect ratio with the rounded edges, the DVD video quality, and the simple joy of navigating its menus. And I haven't listened to the commentary track since 2000. When it arrives I will place the DVD copy in the 'oh so pretty' steelbook case and then toss the Blu-ray copy.
Just thought I'd share.

I prefer that version as well. I have the blu but still watch the dvd.

I was trying to pull weeds from my collection but couldn't find anything else that I was willing to part with. I've always been the opposite of a pack rat. I'm weird that way (amongst other things)

Come to think of it I haven't seen the dvd for sale since the blu came out. Out of print. Mine was bought back in the day. Very used now.

Yay! It will get a new home inside the pretty steelbook case and the paper insert will be included in there too.

Oh crap. I didn't notice it was Region 2 PAL. Oh well, my money was refunded without any need for return. So.. any buyers? haha. It's actually in good shape (the disc and cover insert, not so much the plastic case)

I found a Region 1 DVD copy on eBay in mint condition for only $4.48. It arrived today. It even includes the original paper insert and the little swag store card for shirts and hats. Nifty.
