We never find out what the title of the book Heather reads from at Coffin Rock. Less than a minute into the movie, Heather shows us the book (along with two other books, How to Stay Alive in the Woods and All-Weather Back Country Notebook), but the book is so old that you can't read the title, and she never says what the title is. Just curious if it is a real book. We're guessing no! lol

I think the book might have been mentioned in Curse. Heather's film professor Michael DeCoto might have talked about it. I'll have to check.

The book isn't named. But I know what prop book they used for the shot. I paused it and there are enough letter bits remaining on the cover to make out what it said. In Freedom's Cause by G.A. Henty
