Nice. the creepy music really fits it and gives it a new feel. When I first decided to edit BW2 back in 2019 my original idea was to use music from the Blair Witch volume 1-3 video games and some of the creepier sounding stuff from the latest modern Blair Witch 2016 film. I finished a rough edit but didn't upload it unfortunately, it's long gone now but it did work. It's impressive how you can change the tone of scenes with something just so small as music, like you've done here with removing the Funny Farm music.

Well I did more than just change the music. There's no force feeding and everything's edited together in a different order.

The guy on the radio is talking about Titticut Follies the old black and white film about mental asylum patients, but that's exactly where Blair Witch 2 got it's idea from. In fact Ben Rock (production set designer of BWP) originally pitched the idea, then it was stolen from someone who worked at Artisan, who then bragged about forcing Joe Berlinger to shoot these scenes. The mentioning of the nostril tube scene is a direct reference to BW2 obviously though.
I uploaded the scene in black and white a while ago.

Almost sounded like he was talking about the documentary partially shown in Shadow of the Blair Witch - 'White Enamel' I believe - but then he started talking about the forced feeding which makes me think of BW2.

Wow. This thread has gotten lengthy. Just an observation. Not a complaint. I've never seen that movie get this much attention.

Your extreme picture quality got me pumped up for a remaster. I feel satisfied now. A while ago apparently a blu-ray release of BW2 was released in Spain. I don't know how official it was but if it's a Lionsgate release then perhaps it does have a noticeable jump in visual quality. I would love to see for myself. |

Not at all but I also noticed it's damn loud. All I did was compress it after rendering.

are you sure your software hasn't increased it by default? make sure it's 0.0 DB or whatever.

I think I might know what you're referring to.
My little prologue, intro, and ending credits were prepared separately at 2.0 to eliminate the original audio even further (after an overlay of silence), plus I wanted the music loud in those segments...but no volume was increased on the rest of it - neither by default or myself.
