I have a feeling the last episode is going to fizzle out.

Five episodes in. Almost gave up on it at episode two but it got better. Not scary. Jump scares annoy me. It's a family drama actually. At points I've gotten confused about which kids I am seeing as adults. Frequent jumps between past and present. Five kids I think? Lots of characters to keep up with. I'm seeing earlier scenes shown from a different pov. Clever. Things foreshadowed early on come to pass. I think I like it. Enough to watch the other five.
To this point it hasn't been explained why the house is haunted. Or by what. Or why it's after this family.

Finished it.
Episodes three, four, and especially five are the best.
I just didn't understand the ending they tied up very quickly in episode ten.
I've noticed these TV shows all seem to do that.
They're slow burns until the last episode, when all the sudden they tie things up real quickly whether you like it or not.

Just finished six. The funeral home. I like the way this was shot. Very few cuts. All steadicam, following this character and then that. Dark house with the lightning outside. Very haunted house-ish. Got to see a couple Hill family ghosts. What's Dad not telling them...?
On to episode seven!

Finished it. The ending was a bit weak. Had some cool moments in it. Probably won't watch it again. It was ok.
