I'm halfway through Halloween '18. They retconned the entire franchise (which is a good thing) but said Michael was arrested at the end of the first two movies and then locked up again for 40 years.

No he wasn't. He just burned.
So they also retconned the ending of the first two movies, which doesn't make any sense to me.

And Michael's psychiatrist blew himself up at the end of Halloween II, so he didn't die "a few years ago" as the new movie suggests.

Besides, I already liked the very ending of H20. It was a brave and cool ending and the whole story actually followed nicely after the ending of Halloween II.
It was a true continuation with a powerful, final ending.

In this new version, Laurie never had a son. She had a daughter instead ..

I'm not finished watching Halloween '18, but so far I feel that H20 had tied everything up neatly, so the whole thing should have ended there.

But now they're going to make another sequel.. STOP! They keep resetting everything and then later it all goes to crap again.

Michael bleeds, but he cannot be killed!

I remember me and my sister went to see Halloween h20 in the odeon theater downtown in vic, we sneaked in when we bot tickets to see "ever after" with Drew berrymore to get into the theater and just walked into the room playing Halloween.

One time I timed it out perfectly to where I saw three movies for the price of one.

I won't try and do that cus I wouldn't wanna get caught doing something bad in one of two theaters in town

Yeah! I heard aside from diamonds, the price of popcorn in theaters is the biggest rip off in the world.
