Much like the first one, with lots of pop culture references and 4th wall breaks. The baddie Cable is pretty one dimensional. DP calls him Thanos at one point  . The X-Force team doesn't fare too well - most of them die early and stupidly (but funny). A fun cameo... Brad Pitt as Vanisher! On screen for two seconds, but still in the credits. I still like the first one better but this is pretty good. Did I mention JUGGERNAUT? Yeah. Him. I doubt there will be a DP3 but the after-credits stuff leaves the door open. Mr Pool gets Cable's time travel device and saves his girlfriend, kills off his previous incarnation of Deadpool from the Wolverine Origins film, and kills Ryan Reynolds before he makes Green Lantern (you're welcome Canada) . Then there's the scene after DP gets torn in two by J-NAUT and his bottom half is growing back like his hand did in the first one. Tiny legs and tiny junk. Yep. There's a shot of that. Yikes. Could have done without that.

I liked it. Although I can’t say I’d ever watch it again. Pop culture references and mentions of other films are the best parts.

Yeah. I like the first one better. It was exactly what I expected. Which isn't always a great thing. Also not going back for a second viewing. Will probably pick up on blu eventually when the price is right.
