Yep. Came out in 2013. About an adult alcoholic Dan Torrance who still "shines" who learns he has a half-sister named Abra who also has powers. It seems ol' Jack was cheating on Wendy back in the day. They team up to take on a vampiric group called the True Knot who abduct children who "shine" and feed on their power (called "steam" in the novel). The finale takes place at the site of the former Overlook Hotel, where some of its ghosts still linger. Pretty good book. Not one of King's best but worth a look.

I read books. I have read 14 of Stephen Kings books but after finishing the dark tower I feel he really let me down as a reader that had invested alot of time reading the story, and had become attached to the life of the characters, Roland and his friends struggle through so much to reach and the dark tower and In the end Stephen King writes the worst ending for Roland ever! After all he's been hroug and after all I've been through reading that story that is what Stephen King writes! Total let down man I was truly unhappy. So I don't know if I'll read more of his books.

But I had doctor sleep for a short time, I found it in a public laundromat when I was washing my clothes when I was homeless in 2013.

I began homeless in the heart, then soon found myself there permanently.

Home is a state of mind, not a physical place. One can be at home anywhere.

Believe me, I know. And it's a sad thing.

Playing on nostalgia from the first film. Making sure everyone knows this is a Shining sequel. No Kubrick this time though. Hope it doesn't suck. Obi Wan is a pretty good actor. He could pull it off.

This was a kids movie. I wonder how many even got the reference? Or were triggered by the Blood Elevator? I bet if Kubrick were alive he wouldn't have allowed this.

Can anyone confirm if that's what astral projection is like? Haven't tried it myself.

"Well. Hi there." I don't think I've ever seen a movie villain shopping for poop paper. Look in the cart. That's funny

Watched it again yesterday. Sequel to the first film, not the first book, as well as the adaptation of the sequel novel.
"Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope".
