Really enjoyable. More of a psychological thriller than a horror movie. Think The Witch meets 28 Day Later meets the Babadook. I highly approve. Just don't expect the movie to be filled with a ton of scares or be traditional horror. Just a lot of mood and an ending that will stick with you for a while.

A24, as great as the movies they distribute are, makes some really terrible, misleading trailers. It's lucky I saw the trailer a while back and completely forgot about it, and saw the movie based only on the fact A24 is distributing it. This movie was great, scariest thing I've seen in a while that turns into one of the most depressing things I've seen in a while. Even more depressing than The Mist. It felt very much like The Witch. |

Just finished watching this. Pretty good. No happy ending here. The trailer is misleading. You can skip that and just watch the movie.
