What, can you see into other dimensions? perk of being friends w/ the haxan guys i guess. Plus coming to the Blair Witch Experience always yields surprises, even for me every year. The guys always surprise us with something new to watch or tell. I can't see in other dimensions but can taste color..kinda the same right?

We're planning on having Eduardo Sanchez and a second surprise guest on our next podcast (if the scheduling holds out). We'll be recording this Monday (8/29) [and publishing later in the week].
I strongly encourage everyone to please visit the article in the first post and: (1) vote and (2) post your comments after the article. I'll be sharing the results with Eduardo.
Please share these links with other forums covering Blair Witch or friends who would like to see this happen and have them vote and comment! Thanks!

We just finished recording our podcast. Our guests were Eduardo Sanchez and Oren Peli (Director, Paranormal Activity). Wed discussed how Paranormal Activity was influenced by Blair Witch... and lots more. :-)

it was honestly a lot of walking, talking and arguing for pretty much 80% of the shoot. the rest is longer drawn out versions of the scenes in the final edit

its interesting to say the least. It really shows a lot more of what they were going through and a few gems of what you'd call maybe outtakes and stuff.

Once you do, you won't be able to watch the theatrical cut again because you'll be looking for all footage left out

The first two times I saw the movie I was in it for the horror, but since then I kinda just like it because of the characters and their whole drama. I like all the parts people joke too, like the map deal and them arguing. While I don't buy into the theory that Mike and Josh killed Heather at all (or the crazed townspeople/redneck one) I think the movie still holds up well under those premises just because it plays off as a sort of disturbing character study. I was so happy to find this site and get all the deleted scenes and all that so I would totally kill to see everything uncut. I hope longer versions become available! Oh man and I'd love to see the outtakes, like were they filming during the whole bulldozer thing??

We temporarily locked down the signups so we can base-line the signatures we've collected and compile statistics and see if Ed wants to present these numbers or go for more names. Stay tuned...
