Uh-oh. 35% on Rotten Tomatoes so far. I was hoping this would be good. DC just can't catch a break can they?

Changed my mind. New plan. Redbox. Or the inevitable online bootleg that is sure to pop up any time now. RT has it at 26% now. Not a good sign.

Well I saw it today. For free of course. It was.. ok. I have no knowledge of the comics and had no understanding of these characters beyond the trailer. The action scenes were pretty good. Too many characters. This is the Harley and Deadshot show. Could have left the others out and gotten pretty much the same film. Didn't like this version of Joker. Not sure why he was even in this. They could have left him out and had the same movie. A forgettable film. Won't be buying it and probably won't watch it a second time. I'm probably not the demographic this was made for. Others might like it more than me. See it if you want.
This movie just felt like setup for movies to follow. The purpose was to introduce these characters, and the boss fight at the end felt like an afterthought. The whole thing felt like one long trailer for something else. At least that's how I saw it.

I always knew the DC movies would stink.

I always knew the DC movies would stink. So far you are right. The Nolan Batman series was pretty good. But since then...

Hated those as well. MCU only. Well the first two. Didn't care for the last one.

Finally saw it. I liked it but I have always loved DC. I'm rooting too much for the DC Universe that I couldn't not like it. I thought Margot Robbie was perfect as Harley and was actually pleasantly surprised by Joker. He should have had more scenes. The writing, editing and directing was kinda meh. If they get the sequel they're planning, they need to replace the director. Hoping for an extended cut when it's out on blu-ray. Would still take this over any Marvel flick.

Yeah, DC vs Marvel is a big thing now. I have no preference either way as long as the movies are good.

Yeah, DC vs Marvel is a big thing now. Really? But that's strange seeing as there doesn't seem to be any real competition going on there.
