Im not sure if there's been a thread like this before, but boy, i do have alot of these types of movies. Here's my list:
Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000) (great soundtrack btw. tons of 90s and early 2000s grunge/rock)
The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)
Carrie (2002 & 2013... not sure if EVERYONE hated these, but i think alot of people hated them or just thought they were average)
The Strangers (again, not sure if everyone hated this, but still)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
most of the Wrong turn series (Keyword: MOST)
most of the Paranormal Activity series (Keyword: MOST)
Devil's Pass (2013)
random Blumhouse horror movies like Unfriended.. Green Inferno.. Oculus.. The Visit
any of you have movies like this??

Book of Shadows- Still love it despite the studio ruining what could have been a really unique sequel.
Halloween 3 Season of the Witch- Again, another unique adaptation that is wrongly hated. Imagine if Halloween became an anthology series. We'd be able to avoid some pretty bad Michael Myers films and gotten fresh films every year.
Fridays the 13th part 7:The New Blood- Repetitive of the previous films but for once Jason meets his match.
