I hope this is what I think it is. From what I am reading it is not a direct sequel to Cloverfield but takes place in the same universe. A spin-off of sorts. Like BW2. Only better.

the witch was pretty good in theatres but not on my tv in my house, and clover field lane was all good, all of it.

Earlier on before the last episode in one episode Dan suffers a bad heart attack, then gets better but at the last episode Roseanne recollects some of her past during the last episode and she describes loosing Dan to a heart attack...." he's the first thing I think about when I wake up, and he's the last thing I think about when I go to bed at night". That part of the episode was really sad and made me sad, it was a perfect ending to the Roseanne show. Not Dan dying of course but the whole ending which was having alot more stuff.

Yes, pretty sad. The last season of Roseanne was really messed up and was way far off from the good times of the show from before the 7th season.

Doable. Ok I agree. It was funny when Roseanne said to the new Becky, "you go to college for a year then come back and we barely recognized you" cus she was a different actor.
