I found this posted on the net from a few days ago: Recently, dreadcentral had an interview with Eduardo Sanchez, one of the director and writer of The Blair Witch Project. He said on that interview “We have been talking to Lionsgate and there has been a little bit of movement but nothing is concrete. The film seems inevitable to me, but really it’s just a matter of it being the right time. I’m thinking it’s going to happen sooner than later at this point, but I always say that. There’s always rumblings and certain ideas being pushed around and such. While I don’t have anything firm to talk about now, it wouldn’t surprise me if something happened within the next year or two.” Full article is here

We've been teased with those words for the last decade. When I'm actually sitting in a theater seeing the Haxan logo on the screen, then I'll believe.

It does seem like we're getting the same kinda 'update' year after year ...
Maybe if the The Woods Movie documentary does well, Lionsgate may speed up their decision?
