Predestination Strange film involving time travel. The main character interacts with younger version(s) of himself. Paradoxes ensue. I liked it. By the end I had a headache from trying to keep all the facts/timelines straight. But that's a GOOD thing

Stephen King's The Shining
Not actually a movie. TV mini-series. Follows the novel more closely than the Kubrick film.

Cake
Depressing and humorless. If the filmmakers intended for the audience to feel bad after watching it, then they succeeded. Well acted I suppose. But a definite downer.

Backcountry
Pretty good. Couple goes hiking in the woods. Idiot boyfriend gets them lost. A bear shows up. Bad things happen. Check it out.

I enjoyed it. If you have an interest in Scientology, then it is worth a watch. Otherwise, you may find it boring.
