Fury
Average at best WW2 combat movie. Unlikeable characters. Nothing I hadn't seen before in other (better) war films. Saving Private Ryan this ain't. Not even Brad could save this one. A rental if you have nothing else to watch. Otherwise skip it.

Late Phases
Low budget werewolf flick. Not bad. Worth a rental. Has two actors in small roles that I hadn't seen in a while. Tina Louise (Ginger from Gilligan's Island) and Dana Ashbrook (Bobby from Twin Peaks).

Interstellar
Not bad. Felt like a combination of 2001 and Gravity with some time travel stuff thrown in.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
Meh. The conclusion to this series was a bit of a letdown. Was expecting more. LOTR just set the bar too high I guess.

stop dissing on The Hobbit! it was awesome! Awesome? You must have a different definition of the word than me. Eagles AGAIN?! Give me a break. Was that even in the book? I was silently cheering when Thorin died. Yep. I said it. He sure ain't no Aragorn. I was sick of him before the group left the Shire. And the elf-dwarf love triangle? Worthless waste of screen time. That whole subplot should have been cut. It seems the editors on this series were afraid to say NO to Peter Jackson. On ANYTHING. Would have worked better as one film.

Exodus: Gods And Kings
I quit watching after 20 minutes. It bored me. This story has been done before.

Stonehearst Asylum
Pretty good. Not a horror film. More of a thriller.

The Last Rites of Ransom Pride It was ok. Nothing special. Only watched it because of who was in it. Same reason I watched The Interview. Lizzy Caplan
