I can't wait for this! It's great to see Ed going back to his roots and creating yet another found footage style movie.
There doesn't seem to be much on it online at the moment, but according to Ed's Facebook page, the whole project is wrapped, so hopefully we could see it being released sometime soon? Later this year maybe?

A new podcast interview with Ed is at the facebook page. Ed mentioned monro running it. but no mention of Tweek running this site.  He also said he wants to make "two or three more sasquatch films". I didn't like the actors very much, or the go pros-always-on deal. But I liked the creature itself as well as the very ending of the film. Now that was a nice touch. |

Bigfoot was caught on camera October 20, 1967 ..
hmm ... October 20th ...
I know Ed might still believe the bigfootage is real,
but I just can't. I know there's muscle to be seen as it walks,
I know it "looks pretty authentic" even by today's researching
standards, but one thing about it has always made me disbelieve..
Look: bigfoot stays away from humans, exists in the shadows,
is obviously intelligent, and would obviously be a descendent of
the gigantapithecus ape. The one in the bigfootage also has that big
plump butt like an ape has .. wow!
So if it's a suit it's a damn
good one! But!
Why does it just calmly walk away?
And then just ... continue ... to calmly walk away?
I mean .. Wouldn't the creature's natural instinct be to RUN away?
To get out of sight of those nasty humans as fast as possible?
It just never felt right to me.

I don't think the footage is real either, but if it was, isn't it possible the bigfoot didn't see them as a threat, and continued walking?

I just watched it again.
My favorite part is when Bigfoot literally chases down the annoying, stereotypical black guy,
pulls him out from underneath the trailer, drags him away, then picks him up and slams his head into a log with all his strength.
Filmmaking at its finest.

It got personal with the black dude because he kept shooting a shotgun at Bigfoot while talking s--t, and actually nailed him in the left shoulder. I wonder where Bigfoot mama was at? She never was around If mama had been around they'd all been dead within the first 30 minutes. Hell hath no fury .. Let alone a bear mother, let alone a BIGFOOT mother. The dude at the end got off easy. Sacrifice yourself to big mama and expect leniency? I don't think so. The last sound in the movie wouldn't have been thunder and rain. It would have been the sound of that last punk getting his skull caved in. |
