It has just this second been announced that Blair Witch's very own Eduardo Sanchez will be directing V/H/S 2 alongside Gareth Evans (The Raid Redemption). Here's some more information:- Some news perfect for Halloween: Gareth Evans, who directed The Raid, and Eduardo Sanchez, the director of The Blair Witch Project and Lovely Molly, are co-writing and co-directing segments of a second installment of V/H/S, the hit horror anthology that had people fainting at the Sundance Film Festival.
Joining Evans and Sanchez for V/H/S/2 are Jason Eisener, won directed Hobo With a Shotgun, Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre), and Sanchez’s producing partner Gregg Hale.(http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/raid-blair-witch-directors-sign-384772) What do you guys think of this? I really think this is a great production team. Not to mention I loved The Raid Redemption (If you haven't seen it yet, go out and buy it). I'm not really a fan of the first V/H/S, but I'll no doubt be giving this a shot. I have full faith in both Ed & Gareth! Would it be a little too ambitious to hope for some kind of Blair Witch related segment? Expected release late 2013.

I haven't seen the first one. Really can't say yet.
I'll watch it, of course. I've seen everything Ed has done.

I wasn't a massive fan of the first one to be honest. None of the stories really seemed to impress me that much. But with Garreth Evans also in the directors seat, this really does have the potential to be pretty darn amazing. Let's just hope it is! Imagine if there was some kind of Blair Witch related segment? One can dream I guess.

Of course not? Why on earth would I do that ... Apparently the whole film was wrapped up in June this year, so hopefully we'll get some kind of trailer/release date soon!
