Why?
Elly prefers scaring and confusing her victims
and then trapping and finally slaughtering them.
I highly doubt our witch endorses personal suicide.
Besides, I am still not positive that Elly is the real enemy.
Those cruel and evil children may be killing in her name,
as evil ghosts now of course.

I found a little documentary about this forest a few months ago, and really do recommend you all watch it.
It's a great 20 minute piece that really does give you an insight into Aokigahara.

We should make a field trip there sometime. You know, camp out overnight. I'll bring my camcorder. Trust me, after it's over, we'll look back on it and laugh heartily.
