This is a little ambitious, but I guess if the demand was there, it'll go ahead. I'm just afraid that at the moment, it doesn't have the demand nor popularity to actually build one. I shall support this project nonetheless!
I could see this happening to coincide with the release of TBWP3/prequel though.

I guess so, I wish I could help you with this, but I wouldn't be sure on where to go with this.
How about you make the Indiegogo webpage, get a few signatures and I'll send this to Ed on your behalf? Just so it gets recognized, as I doubt he reads the Forum anymore.

I am making the page, just trying to come up with some ways to sell the project to people. It's a donation type page

Sounds like you're making good progress. Remember to give us all the link when you've done! I shall try and donate what I can, but being a student. It's pretty darn hard to find extra cash!

like 10-40 bucks gets you a vhs copy of the blair witch project and a possible membership
50-100 bucks gets you a (pending) tour of the entire black hills areas where they filmed the movie

That's a pretty good incentive, and I'm sure I could donate something in the region of $10-20 towards the project, but just out of interest. Where would the money go? Who would you pitch this to get it built (construction wise)?

I am just trying to get the money made first then pitch the idea to the Burkittsville area. Yeah i know im an idiot like this but i would like to be prepared

I totally understand this, it doesn't make you an idiot being prepared! So I'm guessing you live near the Burkittsville area? If you do, I'm bloody jealous. With me living in the UK, it feels horrible knowing that a lot of people on this Forum live near the area. Really hoping to go on a holiday there in the next 2/3 years though.

Oh man, that would be great to be in the area while they were filming. I guess I'll just stick to collecting rare merchandise!

Has Burkittsville had a change of heart about the Blair Witch mythology yet?

I think with pretty much nothing happening regarding The Blair Witch Mythology over the past 10 years, I think this may struggle to find an audience, but if you can put enough time and effort into it, it could just pull through. Good luck! The release of BWP 3 (If it ever happens) could push this forward and give it the publicity it needs.
