Hey Everyone,
Has anyone else had trouble getting the DVD ROM special features to play on the Blair Witch 2 dvd? I insert the disc into my PC, the PCFriendly program starts, the Blair Witch 2 PC Friendly menu comes up, but then I don't see where the "DVD ROM only" features are. When I click the "Discover More" option on the left side of the BW2 menu, I get a PCFriendly error message that says the below:
MSMQQueueInfo error 'c00e0027' There are insufficient resources to perform the operation. /redirFunctions_back.asp, line 141
Were these DVD ROM features not actually on the BW2 dvd itself but actually linked up to a website to show the deleted scenes, trailer, etc? I figured maybe with this dvd being now a decade old, maybe the features are no longer available on the web?
Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I assume it was something online. I never ran it, as I don't like dvds installing unwanted things on my computer. Whatever website it linked to is probably long gone by now.

Thanks Tweek. I'm surprised no one else had any comments. Well I guess a lot of people have forgotten about good ol Book of Shadows. I wonder why Artisan didn't just put the deleted scenes on the dvd itself? I guess I'll never see them. I didn't have a dvd-rom back in 2001 when the dvd released.

I have the UK 2-disc edition of Blair Witch 2 so I sorry, can't help you with that dvd-rom special features stuff. I do agree with you that it's strange that they didn't put that stuff on the dvd. It's essentially the same thing with bwp; we might never get any better release than what we have right now. That bluray version of bwp wasn't that great to be honest. I mean they could have packed it with extras but they didn't....they didn't let us all thought that if they do get down to make bw3 then maybe, just maybe, Lions gate will release special editions of bwp and bw2 (also if we're lucky bw2 director's cut)

Thanks Stranger124. Yeah I would die to see the director's cut of BW2. I really want to see it the way Joe Berlinger intended. I just can't seem to picture it in my head based on what he said in the commentary.

BOS was considered a box office flop. I wouldn't get my hopes up on seeing a blu-ray or anything else on that one.

Yeah you're probably right Tweek. But back in 2001 they could have released BOS as a bare bones dvd but they didn't. I'll still hope on the director's cut but I'm sure that Artisan has long ago cut it up and buried it where Rustin Parr's house was. Hey wait a minute!
