I've heard alot of people tell me that Heather was so annoying in BWP. What do you think? Personally,I think she was a bit too controlling and it was mainly because of her that they got lost,and eventually died,but I didn't really find her annoying. If anything,she was the level headed one and tried her best to keep control and not frighten anyone,even though she was probably scared out of her mind. As far as her screaming and such,well,look at what was happening to them. I probably would be freaking out too!

She may have been Stevens25 but if she was I didnt notice it too much because of the fact that a girl as good looking as her, well, you can get past all that. Also, theres no proof that they died. I still maintain they should make a new movie BWP: Were Back

I can see how others found her annoying but I sure as hell didn't. I loved all 3 characters. It was perfect casting IMO.

I think what happened was that she was so annoying that Josh and Mike planned to kill her. Did the whole, "Okay, Mike. . . you stand in the corner & I'll come up behind and smack the F*#K outta that B*#ch!"

If thats so, why would josh cut out his own tongue, Teeth and lay it out as a gift for heather and Mike? plus all this stuff started happening even when Josh was with them.
Like I said they push it to make you believe that someone else did this.

You could always make an arguement before about maybe one of them is the killer,or there was a wacko in the woods or whatever. But the fact that the Parr house was up and standing at the end of the film when it was burned to the ground in the 40's proves that something supernatural was involved. Meaning it was the Blair witch. No doubt.

I agree Steven25 Also the witch craft written on the walls. Did not really get the Children's hands on the wall thing.. I knew it represented the children who had died but would have been better if it was on the walls in the basement. Also one thing I did not see. Quoted/Wikipedia- "If the movie is paused at exactly 1:17:05 you can see what appears to be a face as Heather Donahue falls after being attacked by a mysterious assailant." I paused several times but I saw no face. Has anyone seen a face because I did not. And if so ScreenShot please  |

Flash512 I think Jerry was just joking. Yes, I was indeed joking. It was a real, joking debate that me and a friend, Brad, had in college though. We were both TV Prod majors and were taking Sight, Sound, & Motion. There was this annoying a$$ chic that sat right in the front and her voice sounded just like Heather Donohue's. She was always talking and interupting the Professor. I mentioned to Brad that she sounded like the girl in "Blair Witch." We started joking that the two guys got fed up with her and just offed her. It was Brad that came up with the line "Okay Mike, you stand in the corner . . ."etc. By the way you all, go to OFF THE BEATEN PATH and check out HOW THE HECK HAVE YOU ALL BEEN? (Something like that) I have a link for my reel that I have posted on Youtube.com there. I want to get some feedback and so far nobody here has even responded. Check it out and let me know what you think. We all need to get some discussions going with each other or this board is going to die. |

I read somewhere that she acted like that because of a professor she had that was very self-assured...or something like that. In any case, she was just acting exactly how I would think a big-headed film student in charge of her own project would act. And guys, come on, she is far from "damned pretty." Not that she's ugly, she's just very plain. Especially in this movie |

The project was her baby and she wanted it to be perfect. Josh and Mike were the background players, she was the star (or so she thought) and how the project turned out was a reflection of her.
Like libertyman03 said, I think she acted exactly the way she was suppose to. It made her more real.

I didn't think so, I thought all the characters were very likeable and had a vibe to them that made them feel like friends or family. She just wanted to complete the documentary but she was being rushed by Mike and Josh and on top of all that they were constantly getting lost and messed with.
