I read somewhere that bits of this film were used in Curse Of The Blair Witch. Would that be the black and white part where the line "burn the witch!" is heard? I had wondered if that was part of a real movie or if it was something filmed for the special (like the Lucan Johnson stuff). If it's from COTD then I must find a copy and see the rest Here's where I saw it mentioned: www.eofftv.com/c/city_of_the_dead_main.htm

We did not film that stuff. You'd be lookin' at the whole budget in one shot of that.
Go find the film! Tell me what you think!

For those that are looking for it, this film is also called Horror Hotel. Netflix has it, so I'll be seeing it soon

Well... I'm still waiting to see this. Been at the top of my rental list for going on two weeks now. Always out of stock when they get to me. Guess this one is pretty popular?

Finally got to see it. The bit that appears in Curse is from the very beginning of the movie. They sure used that fog machine a lot, didn't they

I've seen this film too, it was on a double feature DVD with the classic Carnival Of Souls.
Definite mood and atmosphere, fine films both.

Will have to find that one; got 3 different versions of the classic Carnival of Souls. There is a different edit wqhich seems peppier, I like the laserdisc version the best.
The remake stunk quite hard. Sigh.
As a trivia, the creepy amusement park building is the dance pavilion from Saltair amusent park in Salt Lake City. You can also see the same building in an0ther movie made 10 years ago, Josh and S.A.M.
