Hi Ben. ;D
1) How did you come up with the idea of Transitus Fluvii and do the symbols actually mean something in particular?
2) How did the stickman idea evolve?
Thanks, Victoria

Transitus Fluvii was something a friend of mine, who happend to be into Wicca, told me about. She told me about a book called Magical Alphabets by Nigel Pennick. Tranitus Fluvii is briefly covered there (p. 42), along with the Celestial and Menachin alphabets (both cousins of TF). Gregg Hale and I talked about it A LOT, and it was something that Dan and Ed were into. Unlike Runes, TF hasn't been done to death, and since it's based on Hebrew we kidded ourselves that I would actually spell stuff out in it.
But there was no time to be that witty. I wrote up some stuff that phonetically sounded cool in Hebrew, but since there were like four or five of us dressing the house it probably doesn't mean much.
In "Burkittsville 7," I wanted to set the record straight because everyone thought we'd used runes, but I wanted to exploit TF for all it's worth. By the way, what Kyle Brody is writing there is "abbada ke dabbada" -- which meant (in Chaldean) "Perish Like the Word" and is the root of the cheesy magician's "Abracadabra!"
As for the stickman, it was a few things. Dan wanted this "bundle of sticks" approach to the stickman, but I was woefully understaffed and expected to be making these things in the woods with rope -- the bundles would fall apart long before the kids ever got to them. So I was in traffic, flipping through Magical Alphabets again and I happende across "the rune man" (p. 79). If you look in there, you can kinda see the stickman. It was simple, and could be built out of four sticks and some twine, so we could make them by the HUNDREDS (which we did) and easily hang them.

Not so much questions but a major thumbs up. FINALLY got to see my B7 last night. Was impressive, to say the least. Actually, skip, 2 two questions here.
1. White Enamel, any plans to expand that movie to give more clues? I found it quite clever into the context of B7, giving more psychological impact concerning Kyle.
2. While tons of people seem to hate BOS, I loved it personally. There appeared to be some fun and games with the reverse clues sprinkled all over. One clue given by Tristen speaking backwards might point the way towards future storyline work? Also, since the Artisan website no longer carries the entry for the secret, there was a link to a movie clip out take from BOS. Was that the only final secret the website pointed to, or were there other things? Also, was it your group's idea for these little tricks in BOS or Artisan's?
