the secret confession of rusin parr contains information about markings on skin, like the ones the group encounter in BOS. was this written to tie in with the info after the second movie? If not, why did Heather and Mikey not have the markings?
or was Josh marked but we never get to see it?

maybe there her way of possessing people and animals? remember ranger in the secret confession of rustin parr, he went all crazy and parr had 2 shoot him. ranger had the witchs cyper on his belly 2!

The book came before the second film. BoS didn't follow the established mythology very closely. I think they just added that for dramatic effect.
