Hey everyone! I am a huge fan of the Blair Witch, and I watched it many times. But, my wife has not seen it. We have started our travel/work remotely that will last 6 months (car camping) from Minnesota to the East Coast. I want to recreate the experience for her as much as I can, so here is my plan: I have saved all the film locations on a Google map, and we will stop/camp next to the red shack/coffin rock, and watch it (she will be seeing it for the first time!!!). After the movie, the next day, we will walk those locations (Coffin rock, red shack, Burkittsville (the sign, the cemetery), the dinner, the shop (where the man was interviewed), Mike's home). I will also film and take photos. Just wanted to share with you the exciting plan I have come up with. And she is scared easily, so that should help.

Nice. Please share your pics. You know, BWE does something similar and is coming up in October.

They just had a screening in Burkittsville. Maybe they will make it a regular event. Make it part of BWE?

From what I understand after the initial release the town was less than pleased with the publicity, but let's hoped they have finally made peace with the movie.

The new mayor is a fan of the film. That helps.
