If you were writing the next Blair Witch film, what would you like to see? Who knows? LG might like what they read here and make it happen one day.

That's a real shot in the dark, but here goes..
I feel that any "sequel" idea could never really work. But a prequel .. perhaps. I envision a period piece focusing on the 1886 Coffin Rock massacre. A search party tale. A Robin Weaver tale. But the name Blair Witch should be left out of the film's title. Wouldn't want to scare anyone off by title name alone.
Eileen Treacle would be a harder sale. Not much to her core story there. A ton of new material surrounding her incident would need to be written. As far as Elly Kedward the woman is concerned, her tale already exists at EK.com and any film adaptation should be based on that. In fact, an Elly trilogy of films would most likely be necessary in that regard. But yes, I think a Robin Weaver tale could be really neat.

I've always wanted a prequel of Elly shot in the way of Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow.

fun fact: I and a friend over on reddit began writing a concept that i still occasionally return to when in the mood for it.
it would have focused on the one question we had: We've seen how the Witch (or the deep dark "thing" that make it up) acted to interlopers, but how would it act if one of those interlopers were a child?
He had some interesting scenes set up, already storyboarded out a bit along with some notes, and from them I wrote a concept in that.

Perhaps a sequel and prequel at the same time. A bunch of young people are out into the woods and are sent back in time to 1940. They try to save the children from Rustin Parr's clutches but fail. At the end they are sent to 1785 where the townspeople of Blair village think they're part of a coven and accomplices of Elly due to their modern outfits and smartphones. They are executed along with her. The end shows the ropes of Elly's tree on the ground while the protagonists are still tied to theirs.
