Does anyone have a non watermarked version of this clip from FX
Been a while since I checked in but I really want to start work on an extended cut and this is the one clip I don't have a clean enough version of because of this damn watermark.

I just completed my extended cut of BWP, running at 1hr57minutes, so about 36 minutes of added footage. Added in footage from the workprint, clips on the original website, "newly discovered footage," scene from the end of Sticks and Stones, poetry readings, Crybaby Bridge (I edited it down a bit so that it would flow better), pretty much anything I could find. If anyone is interested, I'll be uploading it to GDrive here soon.  |

9.36 GB ... damn son.
So far I have only skimmed through it quickly, and in the process I almost creamed myself. Using high-end machine learning algorithms 😆, I managed to compress the file size down to 2.00 GB. This only took two hours and it came out nicely. Then I removed the Lionsgate intro. It doesn't belong in there.
I will view it closely tomorrow night and get back to you. Good job man.

I've wondered why the giant file size. The x265 codec is capable of excellent compression. Even leaving the files as MPEG2 dvd format (assuming that's your source) would be smaller. 9+ gigs? |

I've wondered why the giant file size. The x265 codec is capable of excellent compression. Even leaving the files as MPEG2 dvd format (assuming that's your source) would be smaller. 9+ gigs? I used a 9GB+ blu-ray source for the edits and wanted to retain the full quality on my edit. |

I see. I was confusing this project with the BoS one somebody was doing. That film doesn't have a 1080p version other than an upscaled one. No physical blu disk.
TBWP doesn't benefit much from the HD format. Bet you could compress it and hardly lose any quality.

Where do I get a copy of this extended version? I just found and joined this message board for that very reason. Back in the day, a friend of mine downloaded the movie and I remembered all these extra scenes in it that I never saw anywhere again. I was actually thinking those were false memories until stumbling across this thread in my feeble web searches. Thanks to you guys, I at least know I'm not crazy now.
