Hi, first time posting, but I just finished a documentary where my team and I (Montgomery County students) revisited the BWP film locations, explored Burkittsville, conducted interviews with the locals, and camped at night near Coffin Rock.
Here's the video on youtube if anyone is interested:
It was interesting to compare the film locations so many years later, and I think the video offers new insight on how Burkittsville's residents feel about the BWP. Camping at night at Coffin Rock also had the creepy aura that we expected. I'll be happy to answer any questions here, and I hope you all enjoy the video!

Just finished watching. Well done. You should have come here first. We could have told you they don't allow camping at Seneca Creek park. I wondered how long it would be before the park rangers rousted you. Haxan got special permission from the Park Service to shoot (and camp) there. Have you seen the posts about the Blair Witch Experience tour coming up in October?

Just got back from vacation, had no internet access so sorry for the late reply. Yeah so to be completely honest we were aware of the fact that they don't allow camping, but we decided to camp there anyways and pay any fine or consequence if we got caught, because we figured there'd be no way we would obtain film location rights being student filmmakers and whatnot. I'll look into the Blair Witch experience tour, that seems like an awesome thing to take part in!
