I did enjoy that little nugget. And it, of coarse, makes me want more. But I know you can't rush this. Wouldn't want Kubrick to rush, right? Let's see if we can notice what you changed. There's so much coming and to be done for Season Three, to a point it's overwhelming and impossible to rush. Kubrick?! Heh, more like "bonehead" over here.

I watched it through once so far, very carefully, and I saw no technical errors... Imagine doing all your fun editing on a smartphone app. You don't know pain. Are you watching all these films on a small mobile device?

Season Three should begin in late 2020. So stay tuned! . . No. My gorgeous 6" screen is sufficient. I edit on an 18" but review it on a 60" with surround sound. 2020? What?

(by the way, the updated version is now online. It will look the same, but sound better).

2020?
Mini heart attack.... And, no. Haha I'm not a girl. It's just the last time I waited impatiently for a new episode of a series was back in 2003. The Tremors TV series...
Ghostprints...what kind of computer do you have?

Well I'm glad you're able to tap in. Years ago that would have been impossible. I should check the chapters on my iPhone to see how they look. I had in Season One, but haven't since.
2019... nope. We can do better than that. :-)

Love this. GP, you've inspired me to make some changes on the FB page and the site's thumbnail :-)

'Another hot Elly coming right up' was a play on the phrase, 'Another hot (whatever) coming right up (like fresh off the grill) Everyone clear now? jeez .. I'm not clear. Where's the irony?
The irony was in GP's mention of hot, in that the Afterword is about the Great Frost, the exact opposite. :-) I've never thought of Elly as "hot". Not sure that's a door I want to open...
In regards to Elly being "hot," well... I hate to disappoint Tweek. But uhm... despite she thought herself ugly, she actually was very attractive in her youth.
...very.
Then again, keep in mind "hot" is subjective, and is a matter of opinion, not fact. One's "hot" is another's "Oy vey, bitch take that shit outside."
But in regards to Elly, I'll let the eyes of her beholders make that decision.

Nothing "hot" in that pic. A "hot mess" maybe. An extremely bad hair day happening there.

Followed this project for many years and even when i thought we would never see it, i always was a bit optimistic. And then 2016 rolls and i hear some noise coming from the Elly site. And all i will say is it was worth the wait. Really liking this project. I also really enjoy the season 2 afterword. I cannot wait for new seasons.

My Dan, My Dan .. why hast thou forsaken me? Still here brother GP! Just a lot of offline needs happening with the warm season upon us once again (though the cynic in me knows winter is around the corner already). 'Will have a bit of fun in between seasons sharing a sojourn back to Elly's birthplace and of life there today (via Facebook, not the main site). That is so great to hear Haunted Malice, thank you. Words such as yours make all the effort worth it, a good pint of motivation for Season 3! Interesting etymology with "bliain an áir." I like it a lot. If I was to be true-to-form literal, the entire project would be in Gaelic (as per Elly's native tongue), though obviously it would be subtitle city, that on top of an oft text driven story. But I'm glad you're digging it Woll!

Where do you get all this footage and stuff anyway?

Where do you get all this footage and stuff anyway? All resources will be listed at the "end credits." I specifically don't list them yet in order to avoid taking the viewer "out of the experience." In example, mannnnny years ago I had a great friend named Connie who would make me mix tapes, tapes I would listen to with great anticipation of her latest "mix." Connie was a genius at selection and segue. ..But she never indicated what the tracks and artists were with the cassette. I asked her about that and she responded she did so intentionally, so as to avoid my being "prejudice for or against the tune" before I heard it. In example, she might toss in a Madonna tune that I might have otherwise dismissed before even hearing, whereas my reaction would be "Wow, that was a great tune on track 3, who is it?" And then I'd learn it was Madonna, and thus not prejudice to like or not like it (ed note, Madonna is simply an example). In regards to Elly, the visuals are meant to represent the story. Should the resource be obvious, a prejudice or at the very least "distraction," would risk heavy. When George Lucas cut a Proof-of-Concept for this little story he would call Star Wars, he used resource material from Star Trek, Space 1999, 2001: A Space Odyssey and more. Of course Lucas was doing so for potential investors, so in that regard it didn't matter the source was obvious, but he did get his story across as his own and as unique. Elly's site is not for investors of course, it's for us to simply enjoy, explore and experience. And it's imperative her story be shared as her own. If something can be resourced that represents it, then I use it to help capture the scene, and yes it's a complex and very consuming process not only to resource, but more-so to manipulate and frame the story. And it's a very fine line to walk, I don't want Elly seen as Captain Kirk dressed as an Irish girl.

He cobbles it all together from the attic, then combines it with a large sprinkle of inspiration and joy. I love that. Ghostprints, you're not only awesome, you're adorable.

Lucas' story wasn't unique, he even ripped off the trench run from a WW2 movie about bombing a bridge.
