Three more days...
I think President Trump should make this the national anthem.

Having seen it, I'll do my best not to spoil anything. I found it good but not great. At times it felt like I was watching Episode IV with a different cast. Many references to the original trilogy. The baddie in this one ain't no Darth Vader. Maybe it was hyped up too much and my expectations were too high. If I were 8 years old I would be blown away by this. But the eyes I saw it with are much older and harder to impress. Still, it's worth a watch in a theater. Didn't see the 3D version so I can't speak on that. The Star Wars films have never been known for stellar acting but the female lead in this does a good job. The Finn character annoyed me. Not Jar Jar level annoyed, mind you. But enough.

When the movie came out I made it a big event for me. I got a storm trooper costume I rented, it was the hard plastic kind you wear all the individual plastic armor white peieces that you strap on with Velcro, it's was very cumbersome and hard to walk around in, when I walked around downtown lots of people were excited to see me and got selfies taken with me, it was cool, when I showed up at the theater there was other poeple dressed up in costumes, a sand person, who scare easily but return in greater numbers! One of the little guys who sold c3po and r2d2 to Luke and uncle Owen, a couple of weird versions of Darth Vader, one girl had a pink mask, that was kinda weird, and another couple of Jedis, and a guy wearing a bubba fette mask, that was very identical and well made, he made it himself out of metal in his shop, and he wore the helmet and also a tuxedo, that was cool. Lots of poeple at the theater inculding bubba fette had there pic taken with me in the movie quality of the old storm trooper costume, people with there kids came over for selfies too, and when I walked out into the auditorium, the actor who played the lone survivor/last scientist of the disease control center(?) In the (first?) Season of the walking dead was there walking in with me and he said, "now you gotta put the helmet on" and all the people sitting in the seats (the place was packed cus it was opening night!) saw the costume and all CHEERED SO LOUD! I felt so great as I waved to them while hearing them cheer for my appearance in that cool costume. Then someone from the audience stood up at the stage and said everyone in a costume come up to the stage! And when I was at the stage I couldn't get up because the costume was so constricting I couldn't get my leg up and loads of people laughed! After I got lifted up there we all stood in a line and the audience cheered there favourite costume and the person wearing the tiny desert dude costume r2d2 robot salesman be won by a huge amount of cheering. While watching the movie it was very uncomfortable trying to even settle myself into something close to a sitting position to get into the chair, my legs were still out straight and I was all sideways in the chair with my legs out in the isle it was f#cked. My ass hurt so much after a while, during that exp, I realized I NEVER saw a storm trooper in that movie costume doing anything other then standing or walking or "running". There totally uncomfortable to wear and the leg peieces always bang into each other when walking around and you literally can't see sh#t out of the helmet.but the movie was really cool and I'm glad I rented the costume to attend in style, it cost 116$ to rent but I had to give them a 1600$ deposit to rent it. Although the costume costs 800$ or so online.

Stormtrooper armor seems pretty useless. Doesn't stop blasters. Does it stop anything? Kinda pointless. But looks good on screen I guess.
