I had to do 30 minutes of it per night for three nights to get through it.

The Hallow
I liked parts of it. The locations are nice. Probably the greenest woods I've seen outside of Middle Earth. Liked the first half better than the last, when it turns into a generic monsterfest.

The Hateful Eight The Revenant Eight is not Tarantino's best work but it's pretty good. I found the leaked screener version online and have watched it a few times now. Gets better with repeated viewings. Sam Jackson chews the scenery as usual. The running joke about the busted door was funny. Those who've seen it know what I mean. All the yelling and cursing every time somebody enters Minnie's Haberdashery. TWO PIECES OF WOOD! ONE AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH! Revenant was pretty good. The bear attack was impressive. Standard revenge flick. Also takes place in winter. Nice scenery.

Bone Tomahawk
A western/horror hybrid. Kurt Russell rocks as usual. Liked the western bits, not so much on the cannibal Indians. Worth a look I suppose.

The Martian
It was ok. Not sure what all the hype was about. Red Planet was pretty much the same thing. I liked that movie better than this one.
