A new Blair Witch clone set in Russia.  One reviewer calls it "The Siberian Witch Project".  Once Netflix has it I will give it a look.  However...

... the trailer shows them being chased by what look like space aliens or mutated humans.  Strike One right there.

It seems this is not a new movie.  It has been released outside the US under another title - The Dyatlov Pass Incident.  I found a copy online and have now seen it.  It follows the BW playbook pretty close for the first hour or so.  Take away the snow and you've pretty much got TBWP.  I didn't like the ending.  Totally different tone from the rest of the film.  The trailer shows way too much.  That being said, it's worth a watch.  It doesn't suck.  Not all of it anyway.

That would have been pretty cool.
But I doubt H, M, & J would have appreciated that much.

Haven't watched the trailer and I shan't.
