So who's going to see this opening weekend? Middle-Earth in 3D! Update: Just got back from seeing this. The 2D version. It was pretty much what I expected. It ran a bit long. And felt as if I had seen this before. Oh wait. I HAVE seen this before. Three movies worth. Big battles, lots of Gandalf explaining things, more Gollum. More walking. No Sauron though. The baddie in this one seems a bit weak. Not as good as Fellowship IMO. But not terrible. It met my expectations but did not exceed them. |

I'm trying to see it within the next week or so ...
I've heard very mixed reviews about it mind. Some saying it's really good, some saying it's really bad.
Rather looking forward to seeing it mind.

No, I will find a sweet HD copy for free.
But, when they put out the BD Deluxe Box Set containing both The Hobbit trilogy and the LOTR trilogy,
I will have that.. out in 2015.

I bought the DVD -Yes, I still buy them- a few days ago, but haven't really had the time to watch it yet ... I'll watch it in the next few days and let you guys know what I think!

I won't buy the two trilogy boxset if they don't edit young Bilbo into the beginning of Fellowship.
