First is a promo for the show with Chris Rock doing his own Blair Witch parody (you'll never guess which scene), then a little bit of him talking about the movie to the audience, and then about three minutes of Heather, Mike, and Josh presenting an award along with... for some reason... Buddy Hackett. It's kind of unfunny and cringeworthy to watch, but hey, at least Heather looks pretty hot. |

I was on my network last time and didn't complete the zip download.
But I have them now. 19 videos.
Footage 5, 6 & 7 are notable because they're the bones
footage and a good look at the "Leave Our Packs" absent scene.

Hi. I just had to register to comment on this extra footage. Thanks to everyone for sharing what they have. Theres some really interesting ones there. I've saved all of them except crybaby bridge, which has no valid links any more as far as I can see...unless someone could show me something I've missed...?? It would be really cool to see a fanedit of BWP with all this extra stuff in there, as well as the extra bits from special edition, spliced together chronologically. I've got a version of Godfather 1,2 and 3 which does this, and it's sweet to see how all the pieces of the footage jigsaw all come together. Maybe one day, who knows.. Thanks again to everyone.  |

You could probably squeeze it in there, but really, the fact that there's a fourth person there who is never mentioned otherwise makes it problematic. But then again, there's the opening "this is my home" shot with Heather and... who? I guess we could pretend it's the same guy.
The producers probably had to do a lot of work to iron out continuity kinks given how much footage was shot and improvised by the actors, not all of which would have made sense if one were actually writing a script. You can see an example of that early on in Crybaby Bridge, where Heather is talking about people hearing the sound of a baby and a train at midnight, and then Mike chimes in explaining/arguing that a train doesn't come through every night at the exact same time.
One of my irks along these lines comes from the Curse of the Blair Witch documentary (and other places, I think including the original web site in 1999), mainly because it's a continuity error on the part of the producers: They show at least one, maybe more pictures of Heather, Mike, and Josh hanging out together at college. And yet, according to the dialogue in the film, Heather never met Mike before the morning that she and (hungover) Josh picked him up:
Heather: "I guess you're Mike!"
[later]
Heather: "How are you, Mike? It's nice to meet you."
So, yeah, it's inevitable that there were errors. Shame, though.

Hmm, yeah.
I'm actually thinking of splitting up the Blu-Ray version with Fubar or something and inserting these extra scenes in their correct places. I've only dabbled on the briefest of levels with doing this, but the thought of a 2hr BWP is pretty tempting.

Found some more stuff on an audio cassette of mine from 1999. Back when the movie was out and the web site was up, some of the files they had for download were audio-only. For some reason, maybe because disk space was so much more expensive back then, I chose not to save those WAV files but instead to record them to cassette. I happened across the clips a few nights ago, and I wanted to share them here. I'm putting them into a single .zip file on Sendspace; there are three WAV files inside, though I'll warn you, because this was 1999 and sound files had to be extremely compressed to make it over our slow internet connections, the sound quality is kind of crappy. But still, there's some stuff here that doesn't appear in any other footage. There are three interviews: The first is with Angie Donahue, Heather's mother (not in real life as far as I know, though). This is from the early days of the film's production when they thought they were going to make it more like Curse of the Blair Witch, going around and talking to people about the missing students. The second interview is the full, uncut one with Jim Maynard, the old guy with the glasses in Burkitsville who relays the Rustin Parr story to Heather. Finally, there's a clip of the Mary Brown interview that has a little more dialogue than what made it into the film. www.sendspace.com/file/6y14n4 |

Hello everyone,
I recently had to re-download all my BW stuff and the only two things I am missing are two extra scenes; Crybaby Bridge and what seems to be the rarest extra scene of them all - the one where Heather and Mike are alone at the end of the movie and they're crying and Mike is telling Heather that it's not her fault. It's the extra scene that would take place right before Heather is crying her confession to the camera.
So if anyone has either of these scenes will you please send me download links? Then my lost footage collection shall once again be complete.

And the other scene that I spoke of is not on that list.
I've just about destroyed this site searching for it, believe me.
I also can't find it anywhere on the internet.
