I've just sent the user a message asking if he's able to upload the Fanedit again. I'll keep you all updated!

"voke" contacted me about people having problem downloading the fanedit for Book of Shadows so I thought I might look into it and help you people out.
First I like to mention that the download link is on "fanedit.info" but the information about the fanedit, cover-art, reviews etc. can be found on "fanedit.org" (this is so the site "fanedit.org" isn't shut down by Hollywood for hosting copyright material) and this might be why some people have trouble finding the download link, I know I trouble finding download links to fanedits in the beginning when I was new to the site.
Now, I just tried to download the fanedit and it started up perfectly (I didn't download the whole thing but just check if it started downloading, and it did. and everything was 100% online) so I can't really say what the problem is when some of you aren't able to download it. But try this: open the program jDownloader, make sure you have the latest version. Go to fanedit.info and download the dlc file or go to the youtube video that shows the trailer for the fanedit and in the description box you will find the same download link. The dlc file comes as rar file so you have to unrar it first (program: winrar) then in jDownloader click "linkgrabber" then "add container" locate the dlc file "open" then just start the download. jDownloader will first look so all the files are online so it doesn't start downloading right away, but soon enough it will....Hopefully...

Thanks very much for posting in the Forum, and posting each link, I didn't know you were a member! This should help a lot of people out, including me, as my download speed is terrible, so I'll try and download them one by one a little later on. Thanks again Stranger, really looking forward to sitting down and watching it.

Oh please upload it when you get it. Send me the download link in a PM if need be.
Wait, all I need to do is DL all 21 rar files and then extract them with my winrar program, then the movie is complete, right?

Yep, that's right Twana, it'd be pretty hard to send you a single download link as the whole file is about 4 GB.

200 MB each? oh crap, this is going to take some real time. yeah but when it's done you'll have a movie with the same picture quality as the official dvd for bw2 and 5.1 sound, scene selection deleted scenes and animated menus (which btw I went out and shot myself =)

I GOT IT!
thanks man! ;D
I'll keep it forever. Wached it - one question: Why was the scene with Eilene Treacle in the hospital removed? Her moving in reverse was kind of important to the whole ESREVER theme.

Wached it - one question: Why was the scene with Eilene Treacle in the hospital removed? Her moving in reverse was kind of important to the whole ESREVER theme. That scene wasn't important because when they go to Jeff's place, back to the woods, ("we're still in the Black Hills, aren't we?") that's when the movie really starts to get weird and the viewer starts to question what's real, everything starts with Tristen saying to Stephen, "I saw something at the hospital...", and we, the viewer, didn't see anything of what she's talking about so did she actually see something or are she hallucinating? is it History or Hysteria? (Hysteria or History) Also when Tristen tells Stephen that she say something at the hospital we the viewer are given all the information we need so that short scene at the hospital wasn't really needed. It goes back the old saying "sometimes less is more"

Her moving in reverse was kind of important to the whole ESREVER theme. Erica moves backwards in the "lost hours"-footage and also Stephen think he sees her outside, swinging around a tree, backwards. You also have the kid on the bridge that Stephen sees. So that scene with Eleileen isn't that important really....sorry Eileen, please don't come back and haunt me for it....

Thanks a lot for the download links. Currently, trying the DLC link in JDownloader again using your instructions and if that don't work then I'll download the mediafire links. Thanks to you, my Blair Witch collection grows bigger. *JDownloader says that only 2/8 files are online. So onto the mediafire links.

You only needed to start at the links.
I don't agree with the Director's desire to have that Frank Sinatra song in there. It doesn't even work right in this fanedit. Doesn't work for the beginning of a horrror movie concerning the legend of the Blair witch.
I also noticed that you cut out the Rustin Parr cooler repairman... why? He spoke a cool easter egg reference to Parr. Also, that same scene shows that the people of that area don't like outsiders coming around.

I thought that the people in the store was over-the-top-horror-cliché-anti-town-redneck-people =) Yeah, they don't like outsider, I got that in the prelude. But in the actual movie those people are so cliché and this is from the director of Brother's Keeper, why did he go stereotype?
If you don't like it, that's cool. Truth is I made this cut for myself. Sure I made many changes that the director wanted in the first place but also, as you noted, changed things that I personally preferred.

yeah, it's not bad at all. I like the change. Mostly not seeing Jeff in the asylum early in the movie is the best thing. I do like how you showed it a little bit while Craven's pounding on Jeff's door outside. Now that WAS a nice touch.

I'm still having quite a lot of trouble downloading this one as my internet is painfully slow at the moment, but I really want to see this version. Is there any chance, that with the Uploaders permission, we could upload this onto some kind of streaming site? It'll be easier to watch that way. Thanks!

I accomplished it within 4 hours of seeing the posted links. You can too. Once all the links are downloaded, load the white files (non-video looking files) into a video converter in order one by one. CONVERT. Watch. That's how you get them merged into a movie. Until then it's a big nasty mess.

I really can't understand how problematic it is for some of you to download this. If your internet is slow, well that's one thing. but otherwise it's just to download all files one at a time and the extract. This will give you the VIDEO_TS folder that every DVD is made of. Burn to disc, enjoy.
As for re-upload this to stream sites, sure no problem. Do what you want with it. Just remember that it is copyright material and youtube (and sites like that) might cut you off for doing so.

Why the frakk is a movie file 4 gigs?
Have we lost the ability to compress files in 2012?
This movie needs to be edited into a comedy anyway. I'd do it, but I don't have time.

I'm not sure who's even interested anymore, but I've managed to obtain the Workprint of The Blair Witch Project, which as far as I'm aware, contains about 3 minutes of extra footage, including a few new scenes. As it took me a while to get hold of this, I wont be spreading it via the Forum, but if you'd like the links, just send me a message, and I'll get back to you as quick as I can! It's a large file, and the quality isn't great (As can be expected with a rough-cut) but still, it's what we've been trying to get for a while!

if you guys can upload this fan edit to TPB as a torrent I would be really happy about that. I'm living in the Philippines right now for a few years and the internet speed is about half of a Mb a second at best for me, so it takes hours to download the smallest of files. However with a torrent file I can just let the Macbook download it and I can walk away knowing that in a few days it will be done without babysitting the thing one file at a time. Any help here?

It was a tough one to put together. I had to merge each file together in a video converter program to get the whole movie as one file. After I accomplished all that, turned out that I prefer the theatrical cut over the fan edit.

dude it's a DVD. Why the need to make it one file? Just burn it to disc and enjoy watching on your TV, like all the other DVDs. btw, fakk2, the whole thing is uploaded to rapidshare. Download the program jDownloader and load the .dlc file there then you can press download, enjoy your life, then come back and it will be done just like TPB only I don't have to seed

Didn't have any blank DVDs to burn to, that's why.
