Can anyone explain the ending to me? I'm on my second viewing and I see some things I missed the first time. The man that gives them the files is the same man seen at the end. "Enjoy your picture show" he says. Creepy. My guess is the old man is the Devil or something. The movie ends where it begins (at a theater) kind of like the Oz movie. At the end Dorothy "goes home". In this one the guy ends the trip where it began. Only this time he's in Hell. Or something. |

Yeah, I assume he was either the devil or someone from the 1940s. Possibly a ghost or spirit or something similar. Although, I can't really back that up. Was a pretty unnerving ending and strange confusing movie but all in all a great film. |
