Overrated, Underrated (film edition)

I saw this done at a Transformers board I go to, and then I tried doing it at a couple other boards as well (one of them being mine). So now, I thought I'd give this place a shot with this kind of thread. So here are my lists:

Overrated: Transformers (2007), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, 2012, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, The Dark Knight, Avatar, Titanic, The Godfather, The Hurt Locker, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles (based on what I've heard), The Blind Side, Pokemon: The First Movie, Pokemon: The Movie 2000, Independence Day, Pirates of the Carribean 1, 2, & 3, The Grudge (American remake), Saw, and Twilight (based on what I've heard).

Underrated: Idiocracy, Cloverfield, The Blair Witch Project, [REC], The Mist, Transformers: The Movie (animated), The Land Before Time, Beavis & Butt-Head Do America, The Road to El Dorado, The Hobbit (animated), Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Heavy Metal, Recess: School's Out, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, Moon, Invictus, The Abyss, The Mothman Prophecies, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Kingdom of Heaven, Napoleon Dynamite, Peter Jackson's King Kong, The Gods Must Be Crazy, Kids, Bully, The Last Night, Ginger Snaps, and Halloween 3 (based on what I've heard).

I pretty much agree with your lists, with the exception of The Godfather. Can't go with you on that one. It's a classic. And deservedly so.

Yeah, The Godfather is an awesome movie! Though I do find it to be a wee bit overpraised, but just a "wee" bit.
