I saw this late night Saturday because 2012 was sold out and I didn't much care for another doomsday movie. I've seen enough of them on TV. This movie is compared to TBWP in that the documented video is said to be a hoax. I admit, that is one of the reasons that drew me to TBWP. But if this is a hoax, it's a hoax that holds some merit. What exactly do we really know about this little town in Alaska anyway? Here's an interesting article about the movie: www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/11/06/fourth.kind.real/index.html

<<<<SPOILER ALERT>>>Oh J! The movie was awesome. It had me captivated throughout the entire movie. I just wanted to see more. I wanted to see a real alien. Did you get to see the Alien J? Did you catch a glimpse of him? I did. But it was only a glimpse, enough to make you wonder what you saw. As for the acting, I think it was believable. Especially the video footage which we are not sure if it is actual video or the movie. Some audio is documented in the movie as actual audio of the sessions. That is creepy enough. Yes, the movie was creepy and I can recall two times I jumped out of my seat and that is rare for me, I usually cringe. I thought the ending was a little disturbing, after reading that these actors portray real people who do not wish to participate in the movie. Another creepy aspect? I think the ending of the movie was the icing on the cake, the reality part of the movie which makes it so much more believable. Go check it out and see if you like it Tweek. Maybe you can catch an alien.

Yes it sucked. 2012 sucked even more then a white house intern, btw. In case you were wondering about that one.
Maybe it'll make more sense on DVD... AKA when I can get a screener rip.
I wouldn't even bother watching new moon, but I can already tell you it sucks hardest of all. But it has Dakota Fanning in it so it has an automatic one star rating for me. Otherwise it would be a negative star rating.
I know, I'm rambling.

J, you are too funny! One star rating hugh? Hey, at least you gave it one star! I haven't seen New Moon, I will probably buy it eventually just to see the actors. So anyone else see the Fourth Kind? My friend said she wasn't sure if she was seeing a possesion or an abduction. That really made me laugh because I thought of the same thing. Well, how else does one become abducted by aliens anyway?

I really wanted to see this. Probably will anyway, though suckage factor seems high. At least according to you guys.
Can anyone reccommend (or however the fuck you spell it - can never get it right) a good "realistic" sci-fi flick that DOESNT suck? Anyone here seen Communion? Is that one any good?
