I think Tappy Creek is a definite place of power for Elly and I believe Eileen Treacle's disapperance was a further reminder to the town that Elly was still around and very unhappy.
[shadow=red,left,300]Some BW History:
Just four years after the founding of Burkittsville, there was an incident involving a young child named Eileen Treacle. This small child was wading in a very shallow stream. Allegedly, before the eyes of at least a dozen eyewitnesses, a ghostly white hand reached up from underneath the water and pulled Eileen Treacle into it. The water was reportedly less than a foot deep, yet the body of the little girl was never found.
For weeks afterward, masses of wooden stick figures mysteriously appeared in the creek bed, and the water itself became oily and contaminated for several months.
A farmer reports of having to move cattle from the creek area as cows that have drunk from it have died or had calves with birth defects. [/shadow]

I wonder how much folks on eBay would pay for water from Tappy Creek? You could put it in little vials and sell it! If people will buy dirt and rocks on there then these should sell like crazy

Peter Branwell Burkitt from Baltimore bought a region along the railroad line in 1824 (built 1820) but he didn’t know that this area was cursed by an old woman. He found the ruins of 20 old houses and then he decided to build a new city on this ruins. 1825 the first families moved to “Burkittsville”. One of them was the Treacle family with their three children Joseph, Eileen and Mary.
In summer 1825 was the first harvest picnic, but then they heard the loud screams of their children. The parents ran to the Tappy East Creek, to had a look what happened. “Eileen, is pulled down by an old woman” told Joseph to his parents. Eileens body was never found.....

i think that the tappy creek pond is a waterhole of evil. it's a tragedy that Eileen Treacle's remains were never found. wich has you thinking. the pond is only a foot deep, right next to the area in wich the villagers left elly to her death in the cold. the truth is out there, and i wont give up until i find it. I BELEIVE.

I think Eileen was another victim of the Blair witch...who i believe feeds off fear! I mean look at the children taken by Pustin Parr and Elly Kedward. I think they were both possessed at the time because who in their right mind could do that to a child. Could you imagine all the fear that would have been present. The Witch obviously very strong after these deaths.

Maybe Elieen got tired of living with her parents and moved with Elly. Or she just went to have tea in Elly's undergrownd crib... Just joking. Yeah, it's scary, I imagine the faces of everyone when the poor girl was being pulled. Like... "What the hell? I'm not drinking alcohol anymore!".

I believe that whole area to be "Haunted" / "Evil". Whatever you want to call it. Legends and/or Folklore exist in some bit of truth. Eileen Treacle was indeed a victim of the "Blair Witch" along with all the others that were killed in that area. The one thing that really freaks me out about BWP is Heather, Josh, and Mike crossed that creek once going into the woods. Then they crossed it, what 2-3 times trying to get out. Elly was on a roll, and she wasn't gonna let them out of those woods alive.

At the moment I post this, the topic that was first was Coffin Rock locations, with 4 replies, mine being the last and the views right now is 666eeekkkk!! I just noticed this, coincidence or yet another clue that there is more to these woods than meets the eyes, something more evil!!! Everyone run for the Hills!! ;D I'm serious people! Do not venture further into these unknown woods...I am convinced now that they are cursed.... ;D
