It does have the set up of some real haunted woods stories. I agree! im new on this page but im a true believer of the blair witch/elly kedwards im going to black hills as soon as i can , gotta get an apartment or something first hha

Question: If the movies are fake than how can the legend be real? Makes no sense. They're ether both real, or both fake. (Later being true, of course) One cannot be differant from the other, not possable. (If only the yahoos who did that sorry excuse for sequel followed that simple logic, it couldve been a halfway descent film)

I have a video of the Producer doing a Q&A at the Enzian theater a couple years ago and he mentioned that there was already a ghost story in the town of Burkittsville, but he did not elaborate on it AT ALL. He simply said that because of this, and Burkittsville being close and convenient, they created the Blair Witch mythology itself.
Whatever this real ghost story is ... I want to really know more about..
