Because I love this topic.....
Tweek: "To quote the vampire Lestat, Evil is a point of view. It's a human concept that does not exist in nature. There is simply what I call The Balance. Life and death, predator and prey. That's all there is. The rest is just fantasy we humans have invented to describe elements of the world we can't control. We create our own monsters, our own devils and angels. Those delightful scares we get from horror movies are glimpses of our primitive animal nature. That side of us that we shun and lock away and deny. We are animals, no better no worse than the creatures of the forest. That thing hiding under the bed, that boogeyman in the woods waiting to jump out at you... it's our own dark reflection that is scaring us. Fun, isn't it...? "

In my opinon, nope. But then, it can't be considered 'good' either!
To paraphrase Forest Gump; "Nature is as nature does".
Terms such as 'good' and 'evil' are an attemp by own own morailty to neatly pidegon hole certain chareteristics. None of us are all good or all evil. Apart from the fact that these terms are totally subjective anyway, is it helpful to view the world in such a simplistic way?

I think that nature IS evil, but only if we don't respect it, or treat it right. Of course, most of the world doesn't do anything at all, to keep nature clean, and a good place, so she's fighting back to us! Well, my view of course, but somewhat it's true!

I don't think the wood are evil in themselves, but if you’re starving and tired the biological reaction of the body is to release more adrenaline to help you survive in difficult situation. Of course that also create a psychological state of fear, anxiety and can cause psychosis if prolonged.
